Dear Friends,
On behalf of the Northwest Autism Foundation, I would like to thank you for your participation in the first annual Autism Gala and the Celebrity Golf Classic; our main fundraising activities for the year.
We are especially appreciative of our major sponsors; The Portland Trailblazers, CH2MHILL, Skanska Corp., Verizon Wireless, Easter Seals Oregon, VergePointe, LLP, Caruso Produce, Joe VanHaverbeke and Gleason and Barbara Eakin.
Through the interest, support and generosity of all those who participated, we were able to raise over $115,000.00. This money will be used to assist in the development of a new medical/behavioral program for early diagnosis and treatment for Autistic children in the northwest. With Portland 
Doctors already involved in this program, the opportunity for children in Oregon to participate rises immensely.
The money will also be used to improve educational opportunities for those on the Autism Spectrum. Offering them opportunities to understand themselves and others through camping and other activities will be stressed. We will continue to provide top level classes and conferences for parents, educators, caregivers and medical professionals.
The compliments and positive feedback from this first Autism Gala have been tremendously encouraging and rewarding and we can’t wait to see you again next year at Gala2.
